Our nominees for the university elections in the summer semester 2022

1. Matthias
Matthias is studying mathematics in his eighth semester and has been a member of FSinfo since October 2019. As current second speaker, he is part of committees such as the Faculty Council and represents the interests of students there. He takes on many internal tasks such as leading meetings and organising our strategy weekend, as well as external tasks such as organising the barbecue and various tasks during the orientation week.
In the past, Matthias has already been a member of appointment committees and was part of the organizing team for the Mathematics Student Conference last September.
Giving advice to and helping prospective students as well as new students is particularly important to him.

2. Sina
Sina is studying Internet Computing in her second semester and has been active in the student committee since the beginning of her first semester. There she played a major role in the organisation and moderation of an event, were FIM students could receive information on study time spend abroad. Maybe you got to know her during the last orientation week, in which she took on the duties of the main organizer as well as preparing and guiding an interactive game evening. She is also responsible for the planning and implementation of regular social events (Thursday events) at our faculty. It is especially important to her to stay in touch with you students and to be able to help with problems.

3. Mirjam
Mirjam is studying to become a grammar school teacher (Mathematics/English) in her second semester and has been part of the FSinfo since the beginning of her studies. She has already co-organised an information event on how to study abroad as a FIM student, as well as the game evening as part of the orientation week and helped prepare the "Quietschietüten”. It is particularly important to her to stay in contact with you students and, as a member of the “AG Lehramt”, to make sure that the interests of teacher trainees are being represented at our faculty.

4. Fabian
Fabian is studying Internet Computing in his second semester and has been active in the student committee for computer science and mathematics since the beginning of his studies. He contributes to the development, renewal and maintenance of the student committee’s IT-infrastructure and is a contact person for his course of studies. He also helps with the computer introduction and the organization of various social events.

5. Hanna
Hanna is studying to become a teacher for grammar school with the subjects Mathematics and German in her eighth semester. She has been a member of the student committee since winter semester 2021/22. As a member of the “AG Lehramt”, she is responsible for advising and supporting all FIM teacher training students and, as part of the mentoring programme, she supports Quietschies in order to make the transition between school and university as easy as possible. The presence of the FSinfo at student information events is also really important to her.

6. Doro
Dorothea is studying to become a teacher for grammar school with the subjects English and Mathematics in her second semester and joined FSinfo in her first semester (winter semester 2021/22). Above all, she is active in the implementation of the orientation week, here especially for the organisation of the “Quietschietüten”. In addition, she also supports the student committee with the planning of social events. Otherwise, she is active wherever a helping hand is needed.

7. Laura
Laura is studying Artificial Intelligence Engineering in her second Master’s semester and has been active in the student committee since winter semester 2021/22. She takes care of writing the protocol at the student committee’s meetings and helps students whenever they have questions regarding their studies. In addition, she is involved as a helper at FSinfo events or the information afternoon for university groups.

8. Jonas Pi
Jonas is studying Internet Computing in his eighth semester and has been part of the FSinfo since 2016. He is responsible for the student committee’s social media and co-organised the information event on how to study abroad as a FIM student last semester. He is your contact person for topics such as semesters abroad or changing your course of studies.

9. Julian
Julian is a Bachelor Student for Computer Science in his second semester and joined the FSinfo in his first semester. He helps organising events like the orientation week, where he has taken care of the helpdesk this semester. He is also developing small digital tools for our team very passionately. In addition to his commitment to the student committee, he is a member of various student group like the IEEE student branch here at the University of Passau.

10. Paul
Paul is studying computer science in his second semester and has been a member of the student committee since October 2021. He is part of the protocol team that records the topics discussed at our meetings and their results in order to establish transparency between the FSinfo and the students. He also works creatively on the social media team and helps with the organisation of the regular Thursday events and other external events.

11. Martin
Martin is currently in his twelfth semester of teacher training. His majors are mathematics and IT. He has been actively involved in the student body representation (FSinfo) since the winter term 2016/17. His duties span from representing teacher trainees to organizing and following through with special examination review courses in preparation for the teachers' state exams. He is greatly supported by his team, especially when organizing special events in the first week of every semester (orientation week). He is also responsible for organizing joint projects and perpetuating a close line of communication with other student body representatives who have similar goals.

12. Jonas V
Jonas is in his second semester of Bachelor Internet Computing and joined the student committee for computer science and mathematics at the beginning of his studies. Since then, he has proven himself to be a useful helper in the organisation and implementation of many social events. Furthermore, he was also responsible for the organisation of the mentoring programme in the orientation week.
