If you have any questions or suggestions, you are welcome to visit us in our office (IM 244). During the usual lecture times, you can usually find someone there who can help you. In addition, during the lecture period we offer consultation hours for specific study programmes, where experts from the respective study programmes are available to help you.
The expert consultation hours are divided up as follows:
|B.Sc. Computer Science||Tuesday||11:00 - 13:00|
|B.Sc. Internet Computing||Tuesday||13:00 - 15:00|
|B.Sc. Mathematics||Tuesday||15:00 - 17:00|
|Teaching Programmes||Thursday||15:00- 17:00|
|Master’s degree programmes||Thursday||13:00 - 15:00|
Of course, these times are not obligatory for you, our doors are also open outside these office hours for all questions.
You can see whether the office is currently occupied by the “open/closed” sign on the top as well as on the stairs in the FIM foyer.
We can also be contacted online by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that emails sent to this address can be read by all members of FSinfo. If you have a confidential or personal concern (e.g. problems with other university committees, chairs, lecturers etc.), you are welcome to contact our spokespersons Matthias and Sina directly and privately. To do so, use the email addresses email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also offer a public chat room in the FIM Mattermost. A FIM identifier is required for access.
Especially for questions about the teaching profession, you can contact email@example.com.
For exam protocols of old exams, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also find us on Instagram and Facebook.
As a student council, we focus on advising and representing our students and therefore do not maintain any means of disseminating job advertisements in particular. Instead, we recommend the official career portal careersUP of the University of Passau for networking between students and companies. This offers a comprehensive possibility to reach students of all or individual faculties or departments. We therefore ask you to refrain from sending us job offers or similar and thank you for your understanding in this regard.
We will inform you about current events and dates relevant to your studies via our social media channels and our public calendar (also available directly as an iCal feed for importing into calendar programmes).
